Maks Shah's career can be split up into 3 decades.
In this 3rd decade, she is privileged to be part of Syngenta, a leading agriculture company. She leads a team dedicated to delivering IT and digital solutions for scientists in R&D, harnessing the latest data insights and technology to ultimately help growers around the world meet the challenges of food security in an environmentally sustainable way.
For most of the 2nd decade, she governed the on-line presence of one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. They provided on-line services and information to millions of patients and doctors monthly. During the earlier part of that second decade, Shah was the director of operations of the biometrics unit in R&D.
During the 1st decade of her career, she was a computational eco-toxicologist working across multiple industries, governments and academia. She focused on experimental design, modeling and predicting environmental impact in aquatic ecosystems.
Shah holds degrees from Concordia University, Univertisté de Montréal and MIT Sloan.
Shah's interest include family, running, international cuisine, traveling and scuba diving.
