What’s Next?

Almost nobody saw ChatGPT coming, and we won't see the next one coming either. So if we can't predict what's next, how should leaders decide where to put their effort? Drawing on lessons from inside the UK government and from governments around the world, I'll look at what has worked, what has gone wrong, and what that tells us about getting ready for a future none of us can forecast.
